Narrative

His death certificate shows his name as Hanley THOMPSON Ward but most other sources show his name as Hanley MICHAEL Ward. As his death certificate also shows his father's name as Hanley THOMPSON Ward I have assumed it is in error, even though the informant was his daughter Selina Maria RUSSELL (or BUSSELL) nee WARD. It also discloses he came to Australia c 1814.
