After Elizabeth separated from Alfred WYMAN she took took up with Richard GOLDEN, born PURCHASE. Her children to Alfred WYMAN went with her to the new relationship and subsequently all used the surname GOLDEN. Richard Golden(ing) and Elizabeth Middleton Whyman (sic) married in Uralla in 1880, and as no record of a divorce from Alfred Wyman has come to light it appears Elizabeth married bigamously.
