Narrative

Veronica Mary ROBINS (nee GOLDEN) states that Margaret Rose GOLDEN was born three months premature and lived for only a few weeks, and that she was baptised by Mary Edith GOLDEN'S (nee ROSE) mother, Isabella Mary ROSE (nee GANNON). She also states that Margeret Rose was buried by the Aboriginal people of Woolbrook in an unmarked grave in Woolbrook Cemetery. However Margaret Rose's death certificate (NSW BDM death record 24382/1929) shows a G F Golledge as the undertaker, and James Edwin Joseph GOLDEN, the baby's father, as the (only) witness at the burial.
