Although now beginning to pass into the realms of ancient history, we have decided to leave this section as part of our site so that others may be encouraged to go and see what is in their backyard. It is amazing how many beautiful and interesting places there are, even within a relatively short distance of where we live.

Anyway... deciding to get my mid-life crisis out of the way, I quit my job of 20 years in December 1999 and with Lorraine drove round Australia for three months.
